26th July - Beach trip
Today we set off on a road trip to Mallaig. On the way, in the mist, we saw a bridge.
After some very tiring sitting in the car we stopped and had a comfort break at "The Green Welly".
Next place of interest on the way was Glencoe.
An interesting beehive cairn.
Another view at Glencoe.
And another.
And another.
The sea view from Mallaig.
View of Mallaig harbour.
Next stop, the silver sands at Morar.
More of the silver sands.
And yet more.
And more.
And more.
And more.
And more.
And more.
And the sun was beginning to set just as we came back through Glencoe.

18th July - Kew Gardens
Today, after a brief detour via Leyton to get petrol, we switched on the sat nav in the car to take us to Kew Gardens. It took us an interesting route via Camden, Euston and Hammersmith but did get us there in the end. Once we found the car park we made our way in and first stop was the treetop walk.
Which we walked round.

16th July 2008 - London
You leave London for 2 years and they knock down the Swiss Centre. How inconsiderate.
The BP Summer Screening in Trafalgar Square.
The Kung Fu Panda in Leicester Square.
Covent Garden looking towards the Apple Market & the Punch & Judy pub.
The old DM Dept. Store which is now an Oakley store. My office used to be on the top floor.

Today was Stirlings Veterans Day so we headed up to Kings Park to see the displays. First stop, the Navy helicoptor.
Next up were the old American vehicles.
This one had a huge machine gun.
Some soldiers crawling.
More soldiers with a big gun.
A green goddess.
Stirling Castle from Kings Park.
The parachute display team.
Man with a flag.
Another man with another flag.
Nice JCB.
A restored water fountain in Kings Park.
The navy helicoptor making a break for it.
